Gharghoda is a town and the taluka headquarters in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. The district headquarters is at Raigarh that is about 32 km. north of Raigarh. It is located between 22.17° North latitude and 83.35° East longitude at an average literacy rate of 258 metres (846 feet) above mean sea level. Raipur Airport is the nearest airport. Raigarh Railway Station is the railhead.
