Gavie Chahal, Indian Movie ActorGavie Chahal is an Indian film actor who appeared in Bollywood Hindi movies. He is best known for his Hindi film debut with Yash Raj"s film "Ek Tha Tiger" in the year 2012 where he played very important character as "Abrar". He also featured in several notable Punjabi films which include "Yaaran Naal Baharan", "Mehendi Wale Hath", "Majajan" and "Tere Ishq Nachayva". He also participated in several fashion shows and works with Punjabi movies.

Early Life of Gavie Chahal
Gavie Chahal was born as "Navdeepak Singh Chahal" on November 11, 1978 in Mansa to Punjabi Sikh family. He spent his early years in hometown Mansa and later shifted to Patiala for pursuing further studies as mechanical engineer.

Career of Gavie Chahal
Gavie Chahal received various offers from the world of modelling and Punjabi music industry which offered him a chance to work in music videos of leading singers from the Punjabi industry. He participated in many pageants and won the title of "Mr. Punjab" in the year 2000. His first music video was "Jattan De Putt Saadh Ho Gaye" was a roaring success, after which he appeared in many music videos. He also had worked in Punjab Police.

Gavie Chahal, Indian Movie ActorIn 2005 he shifted to Mumbai where he grabbed a role in the successful daily soap "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" which was produced by Balaji Telefilms. After this, he got an offer in the Punjabi film "Yaaran Naal Baharan" under the coveted Yash Raj Films which was released in 2005. In 2011 Gavie Chahal signed for playing a role of 3rd son as character namely "Shivendu Kaushik" in "Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein" broadcasted in Zee TV but later he left the show in March 2012 as he had to shoot for the Bollywood film "Ek Tha Tiger". He also participated in the AXN"s adventure show "Fear Factor" in which he won the Fear Factor Championship.

Gavie Chahal has also done a lot of advertisements and ad campaigns with prestigious companies and brands like Maruti Udyog, Gili Diamonds, SBI Bank, Tata, BSNL, etc. Besides modelling and acting, Gavie is also a sports enthusiast and is involved in sports. He has been a national level player of Kabaddi and a state level player of Basketball.
