Gautami Kapoor, a lady with an infectious charm was first seen in the lead role of Ekta Kapoor`s "Ghar Ek Mandir". Next she starred in the hit serial Kyuki Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi where she portrayed the role of Tulsi for a short period. Gautami belongs to a typical Maharashtrian Gadgil family.
