Gauri Khan, the co-founder of a Mumbai based film production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, has produced quite a number of successful commercial films. She is also the better half of Shah Rukh Khan.

Gauri Khan, Wife of Shahrukh KhanGauri Khan is an interior decorator and film producer, besides being the co-founder of Red Chillies Entertainment, a film production and distribution company, along with her husband Shah Rukh Khan, an actor of Hindi film industry. Her maiden name is Gauri Chibber, and she was born on 8th October, 1970.

Career of Gauri Khan
In the year 2002, Gauri Khan had co-founded Red Chillies Entertainment, along with Shah Rukh Khan. Presently, she is the main producer of this organisation. She commenced her career in the Hindi film industry or Bollywood by producing the movie `Main Hoon Na`, which had been directed by Farah Khan. This film was a box office superhit and since then Gauri Khan has produced as many as seven films for Red Chillies Entertainment, investing in projects which possessed Shah Rukh Khan as the lead star. In the year 2007, she had also appeared in the film `Om Shanti Om` (2007) as a guest appearance. During the 1990`s, Gauri Khan hosted a weekly Hindi music show named `Oye`, for MTV India and also represents `Aftershock`, a fashion line. During 2010, Gauri Khan entered into a partnership with Sussanne Roshan, the wife of Hrithik Roshan for projects involving interior designing. They worked jointly for a giant project in the area of Vadodara in the same year. Gauri Khan established her line furniture in the year 2012, in partnership with The Charcoal Project, Roshan`s home store in Mumbai.

Personal Life of Gauri Khan
Belonging to a clan of Hindu of Punjabi Mohyal origin, she was born in New Delhi, India. She is said to have been brought up in the region of Rajinder Nagar and hails from a background of Hindu Brahmins. Colonel Ramesh Chandra Chibber and Savita Chibber were her parents. She attained Loreto Convent School for a period of 10 years and had pursued graduation from Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi. She possesses a Bachelors degree in History. Gauri Khan had met the actor Shah Rukh Khan in the year 1984, and married the latter during 1991. Gauri has two children Aryan Khan, born 12th November 1997 and Suhana Khan, born on 23rd May 2000. Gauri Khan was also crowned the `Queen of Bollywood` at the Zee Cine Awards in 2008.
