Gaurav Khanna aka Sharmaan, Indian TV Actor All the viewers of the small screen would be familiar with the name of Sharmaan Wadhwa, the street smart, mischievous and a bit irresponsible fellow who is always playing pranks with his on-screen mother Kumkum (played by Juhi Parmar). The small screen audiences wonder with surprise at this acting potential at such early stages of his career. Acting happened to him by chance and then it became his full-time profession and his passion for lifetime. One day while he was working out at the gym one fellow thought that he was some model and offered him an ad campaign. He took up the assignment just for fun and what happened after that is the most glorious chapter of his life.

Here he plays one of the characters of the second generation named Sharmaan, which clicked with the audience so well that he became a household name.

In the new soap `Meri Doli Tere Angana` however Gaurav Khanna plays a character who always faces a dilemma in life as he clings to his past. In this soap his character is known by the name of Ruhaan who is in love with Suhana (played by Mansi Deshmukh) who is portrayed as a simple girl in love with Ruhaan but suddenly disappears from his life to return later and get inter-connected with it again. He jumped to the offer simply because of the fact that there is some mystery to the character. He also claims that the role is not totally negative but has different shades attached to it. He is enjoying his new profession to the core and is also very confident about his future.
