Faizpur is a city in Jalgaon district of the western state of India, Maharashtra. It is located between 21.17° North latitude and 75.85° East longitude at a height of 226 metres (741 feet) above mean sea level.
As of the 2001 India census report, Faizpur in Maharashtra had a population of 25,000 inhabitants. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48% of the population. In Faizpur, 13% of the population is less than six years of age. Faizpur has an average literacy rate of 74% which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 80% while the female literacy rate is 68%.
