Much attention has been bestowed upon the education of Hazaribagh district over the years. Keeping in mind certain noble objectives efforts are taken for improvising the system of education of Hazaribagh district. Objectives are increasing the level of literacy, globalization of education. Making education easily available for every one is also an objective that has been undertaken.

In order to fulfill the objectives several schools have set up in the Hazaribagh district. A survey has revealed that total number of schools of the district is 1174. Out of it, there are 607 middle schools and 571 primary schools. There are also separate schools for minority section of people as well. Thus Number of Minority Middle schools of Hazaribagh has been counted to be ten in number. In Hazaribagh district, 181 is the total number of Minority Primary Schools. The experts have deciphered an interesting fact. According to them, more number of girls has enrolled into the schools than the boys.
