Udalguri District
Udalguri district is one of the 27 districts of Assam state in northeastern India. Udalguri town is the headquarters of the district. Udalguri is a town, a town area committee, and a district in Assam. Earlier, Udalguri district was a civil sub-division under the erstwhile Darrang district prior to the formation of BTC. But after signing of the Tripartite Peace Agreement on 10th February, 2003 through a Memorandum of Settlement between the Bodo Liberation Tigers, Government of India and the Government of Assam, the Bodoland Territorial Council came into being after amending the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution of India.
Darrang District
Darrang District is an administrative district in the state of Assam in India. The district headquarters are located at Mangaldoi. The district occupies an area of 3481 square km.
Sonitpur District
Sonitpur District is an administrative district in the state of Assam in India. It stands among the largest districts of Assam. In terms of area Sonitpur is the second largest district of Assam after Karbi Anglong district. Sonitpur District is spread over an area of 5324 square km on the northern banks of Brahmaputra River, which is known as the lifeline of Assam. It is also home to several natural beauty and wildlife hotspots with a larger number of such wildlife sanctuaries, national parks situated in and around Sonitpur. The tourism destinations in Sonitpur District are Chitralekha Udyan, Agnigarh, Padum Pukhuri, District Museum at Dak Bungalow, Trimurty Udyan, Hazara Pukhuri, Bamuni Hills, Da Parbatia temple, Mahabhairab Temple, Haleswar, Rudrapada temple, Nine lines Inscription of Harjjar Varma, Bhairabi temple and Bhomoraguri.
Biswanath District
Biswanath District is an administrative district in the state of Assam. It is one of newly created districts declared by Assam Chief Minister on 15th August 2015. Biswanath District is created amalgamating Gohpur District and most part of Biswanath Sub division on earlier Sonitpur district. Biswanath District is bounded by Arunachal Pradesh district on north, Golaghat District, Brahmaputra River on the south, Lakhimpur district on the east and Sonitpur district on the west. The administrative headquarter is located at Biswanath Chariali.
