Dibang Valley, one of the major tourist destinations in the Lohit- Dibang Division, is located in the North-Easternmost corner of Arunachal Pradesh with its main land standing in between 95" 15 degree East and 96" 35 degree East longitudes, and 28" 22 degree North to 29" 27 degree North latitudes. It is also bounded by Lower Dibang Valley in the south and Upper Siang District in the south-west.

Upper Dibang Valley District
Upper Dibang Valley District is a district of Arunachal Pradesh. This district is named after the Dibang River or the Talon as the Mishmis call it. Although the Dibang Valley district is the largest district in the state with an area of 9,129 square kilometers (3,525 sq mi), it is the least populated district in India. Upper Dibang Valley District consists of undulated-rugged mountains of the Lower Himalayan mountain range in India with breath-taking green valleys, deep-down gorges, enchanting waterfalls, natural lakes of various dimensions and innumerable meandering rivers and serene streams. Upper Dibang Valley District has the headquarter at Anini, which is located at 1968 meters above sea level.

Lower Dibang Valley District
Lower Dibang Valley district is an administrative district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in northeastern India. It is the tenth least populous district in the country.

Anjaw District
Anjaw District is an administrative district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in north-east India. It is a newly created district, having been split from Lohit district on 16th February 2004 under the Arunachal Pradesh Re-organization of Districts Amendment Bill. The district borders China on the north. Hawai, at an altitude of 1296 m above sea level, is the district headquarters, located on the banks of the Lohit River, a tributary of the Brahmaputra River. It is the easternmost district in India. The easternmost community in Anjaw is the village of Dong.

Lohit District
Lohit District is an administrative district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The district headquarters are located at Tezu. According to the Population Census in the year 2011, Lohit District is the third most populous district of Arunachal Pradesh after Papum Pare District and Changlang District.

Namsai District
Namsai district is an administrative district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in northeast India. It is a newly created district, having been split from Lohit district created on 25 November 2014.
