Dharampuri

Dharampuri is a small settlement in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. It is situated in the Narmada valley. It is positioned in the southeastern part of the district. In the west of Dharampuri is Khalghat at a distance of 18km. and in the southwest is Manawar, a beautiful town at a distance of 26 km. Indore, a major city of Madhya Pradesh is about 136 km. from Dharampuri.

Devi Ahilya Bai Holeker Airport is the nearest airport and Badnagar Railway Station is the nearest railhead. It is located between 22.17° North latitude and 75.35° East longitude. It is located at a height of 139 metres (456 feet) above mean sea level.

According to the 2001 census report, Dharampuri had a population of 13,229 inhabitants. Males constitute 51% of the population while the females constitute 49 % of the population.
