Chief Ministers of Bilaspur State:
Before Himachal Pradesh emerged as a separate state, the region included Bilaspur State. Established in 1950 and existing until 1954, Bilaspur State had Anand Chand and K.S. Himmatsinhji as its Chief Ministers from 1948 to 1950 and 1950 to 1954, respectively. The integration of Bilaspur with Himachal Pradesh on July 1, 1954, marked a significant consolidation, contributing an additional district to the state. President`s rule in Himachal Pradesh:
President`s rule was imposed in Himachal Pradesh twice in independent India. The second occurrence transpired from 15 December 1992 to 3 December 1993, reflecting a need for central intervention in the state`s administration.
