Indian TV serial `Saat Phere` airs in Zee TV at the prime time i.e. Mon-Thu at 9.30 PM. This is a popular serial, which deals with the common problems of the society. It is a story of a girl`s struggles against the stigmas forced upon her by society and her quest for her unique identity. Plot:
The Indian TV serial `Saat Phere` is a widely watched serial. The story is set at the backdrop of Rajasthan but sometimes it also moves to Mumbai. The serial is based on the discrimination and degradation of women that still continues in India today and the protagonist, Saloni (Rajashree Thakur), is one of the girls who face these situations very competently. The story revolves around her and all happenings around her are depicted very nicely.
The story goes like this. Saloni is a 24-year-old girl who has a dark complexion and so her parents are really worried about her marriage. She sings well and she has a very good male friend as her co-singer Neel. They love each other but her parents don`t like him as he is from a lower caste. Saloni`s parents fixes her marriage with a person giving loads of dowry but it breaks up because of her only. Ultimately Manno Bhabi (Neena Gupta) arranges her marriage with a nice person Nahar who has a very good family. Saloni`s courage and strength lets her continue to overshadow her complexion and get on board a journey to search for her own identity. Her family is very supportive and the story goes well. But in every step of her life she has to face problem. It is revealed after sometime that her husband is marrying for the second time and his first wife is dead. The story moves on her brother gets married and here comes the female antagonist, her sister in law Kaveri. Kaveri tries to insult Saloni in step of her life and Saloni constantly fighting with different persons tries to stand firmly. This is a story of a girl, which has become very popular right at this moment.
