Bhramara MudraBhramara mudra is the symbol of Brahma. Bhramara is a Sanskrit word which means male bee and mudra is a form of expression by the use of fingers of both the hands of a human being. Bhramara mudra is a type of hand gesture which is good for allergies and removes the root cause of disease.

The name of this mudra is also associated with Indian dance and represents various birds and insects. It is said that Bhramara can be used to denote a bee, a parrot, a wing, a heron, a cuckoo and some other birds. This mudra is practised to improve the weakened immune system and the intestinal flora that has also been affected. It is best for people who are allergic to meat, tomatoes, hot peppers, kiwis, and strawberries.

Steps of Bhramara Mudra
The steps of this mudra are very simple to perform. But it is advisable to perform it under some expert in the beginning. Once one masters the mudra, he/she can easily practice it while walking or sitting.


•Place the index finger at the base of thumb.
•Touch the tip of thumb beside the fingernail of the middle finger
•Extend ring and little fingers.
•Focus attention and breathe as deeply, slowly and smoothly as possible.
•Hold for several minutes. The Bhramara mudra can be done four times a day for seven minutes.

Bhramara mudra ensures various health benefits to the practitioners, some of them are as follows:


•When antibiotics and many other medications harm the intestinal flora and effects include congestion of mucous in the frontal sinuses, bronchial tubes, and intestinal tract with rashes, Bhramara mudra is practised to get rid of the problems.

•This mudra is also very useful as a preventive measure against the swelling, inflammation and unhealthy growth of the tonsils.
