Bhishmaka
Bhishmaka was a king of Vidarbha.
As suggested by Jarasandha, the powerful monarch, Bhishmaka affianced Rukmini to Sisupala. Krishna went to witness the wedding and arranged to take away the princess. Bhishmaka`s son Rukmin overtook Krishna with a large force. Krishna therefore destroyed the host of Rukmin with his discus and would have slain him. But, he was withdrawn by the plea of Rukmini.
