Bhamragarh Wildlife SanctuaryHousing a rich variety of flora and fauna species, the Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Chandrapur district of the Vidarbha region in Maharashtra. The sanctuary is particularly famous for its natural vegetation that comprises thick forest and small patches of grass lands. The Pamalgautam and Parlkota rivers flow through the sanctuary and supply necessary water to the flora and fauna species. The sanctuary is also home to a wide variety of wild animals, out of which, the Leopard, Wild Boar, Jungle Fowl, etc. are the dominant ones.

The Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary is famous for its wonderful collection of various types of fauna species. The faunal collection of the sanctuary includes the mammals, reptiles and bird species. The important mammal species found in the sanctuary include Leopard, Wild Boar, Jungle Fowl, Sloth Bear, Blue Bull, Barking Deer, Flying Squirrel, Peacock, etc. The sanctuary is rich in avifauna variety also and is home to a number of endangered and threatened species. Apart from the rich faunal composition, many tribal communities also reside within and adjacent to the sanctuary area. The main tribal community amongst them is the Gond-Madia tribe.

The Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary`s rich wildlife attracts several tourists from different places and they visit the place, on a regular basis. As the sanctuary is well connected to most of the major cities of Maharashtra, by air, rail and road, reaching there is much easier for the tourists. The tourists can enjoy a quality time in this sanctuary by watching the beauty of nature.
