Situated in western India in the Chittaurgarh district of Rajasthan, Bari Sadri is a city as well as a municipality. It is located 67 km towards south from district head quarters at Chittaurgarh and 365 km from state capital Jaipur towards north. Here, the local language spoken by people is Hindi. The present head of the state is Raj Rana Ghanshyam Singhji, who is the 21st Raja Rana of Bari Sadri since 2004. The climate of Bari Sadri is sub-tropical and is generally warm and temperate.

The Bari Sadri city is divided into twenty wards for which elections are held every 5 years. The two major political parties here are the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress (INC). Since, Bari Sadri comes under multiple assembly constituency, there are two assembly constituencies namely Nimbahera ruled by Shrichand Kriplani of the BJP party and Bari Sadri ruled by Gautam Kumar of the BJP party. The Parliament constituency of Bari Sadri is in Chittaurgarh and the current sitting MP is Chandra Prakash Joshi of the Bharatiya Janta Party.

As per report released by Census India 2011, the Bari Sadri Municipality has population of 15,713 of which 7,965 are males while 7,748 are females. The population of children between ages 0-6 is 12% of total population of Bari Sadri. Compared to the Rajasthan state average of 888, the child sex ratio in Bari Sadri is 931. The female sex ratio is 973 against the state average of 928. Literacy rate of Bari Sadri city is 80.23 % higher than state average of 66.11 %. In Bari Sadri, Male literacy is around 90.30 % while female literacy rate is 69.94 %. Bari Sadri Municipality has total administration over 3,338 houses to which it supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage. It can also authorize to build roads within Bari Sadri limits and impose taxes on properties coming under its jurisdiction.

The tourist attractions near Bari Sadri are Udaipur (City of Lakes), Neemach, Nathdwara, Banswara and Durgapur. The nearest airport is Dabok Airport at a distance of 70 km, there is also a railway system of connection from Bansi Bohera, Nimbahera, Udaipur, Jawad Road and Bari Sadri.
