Bargur is a town of the Krishnagiri district in Tamil Nadu. The town has picked up its significance due to Mango, Coconut and Banana production. It is one of the main revenue blocks in the district of Krishnagiri.

Bargur assembly constituency is under the Krishnagiri Lok Sabha constituency represented by All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.
