Chaurasi is an important tourist site near Balighai beach and is dedicated to Amareshras, Laxminarayanan and Barahi. The Barahi is a deity that dates back to 9th century AD and is presently worshiped according to tantrik practices. She happens to be the face of boar, holding a cup in one hand and a fish in the other. This shrine is 14 kms from Kakatpur on the way to Konark at Chaurasi.
