Early Life of Avinash Sachdev
Born on August 22, 1986 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Avinash Sachdev was brought up in Vadodara, Gujarat. He moved to Mumbai in 2004 to pursue a career in modelling, after he won several titles like Mr. Baroda, Mr. University and Mr. Gujarat (2004-2005). He began modelling while preparing for the Indian Administrative Service exams, and participated in beauty pageants like Gladrags Model Hunt. He later took up acting projects to develop filmmaking skills.

Acting Career of Avinash Sachdev
Avinash Sachdev, Indian Television Actor Avinash Sachdev"s first notable acting role was in a TVS Scooty commercial alongside Preity Zinta. He later did several television commercials for brands like Cadbury Dairy Milk, GRT Jewellers, eBay and Sun Feast. Sachdev secured his first television role in Ekta Kapoor"s soap opera "Karam Apnaa Apnaa", that first aired in August 2006 on STAR Plus, where he played the supporting role of Sumit Malhotra. He subsequently played Salman in Sony TV"s "Khwaish" and the dual role of Manmeet and Prashant Chhabria in STAR Plus" "Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil". He was even finalised for the leading role in "Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai" and "Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari". However, Dev in "Chotti Bahu" (2008) was his first leading role. The series was aired on Zee TV and Avinash"s portrayal of male protagonist Dev Raj Purohit earned him the Indian Telly Award for Fresh New Face (2009) and Zee Rishtey Award for Popular Male Face of the Year (2009). In 2010, he appeared as his character of Dev in the TV shows "Baat Hamari Pakki Hai" and "Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi".

In 2012, Avinash appeared in the anthology series "Teri Meri Love Stories", along with Shafaq Naaz. In 2013, he played the lead character Shlok Agnihotri in STAR Plus" daily soap "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir", the sequel to the channel"s former series "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?". In 2015, he joined the cast of "Qubool Hai" (Season 4) as the lead character Armaan Raza Sheikh. It aired on Zee TV till 2016. Sachdev was last seen in 2016 in "Balika Vadhu" (Season 2), where he played the cameo role of Dr. Amit Goel. Avinash has also appeared in non-fiction TV shows "Dance India Dance" (Season 1), "Comedy Circus" and "Box Cricket League".

Avinash Sachdev, Indian Television ActorAvinash Sachdev first worked as a volunteer assistant director when he was 18 in "Hatim" (2004), which aired on STAR Plus. He also assisted Farhan Akhtar in "Rock On!!" (2008). In 2016, Sachdev made his directorial debut with a short online travel documentary "Mumbai to Ladakh", based on his personal road trip to Ladakh.

Avinash Sachdev has participated in several world tours and concerts. In 2010, 2011 and 2012, he performed in Zee Night Concerts around the world along with his "Chotti Bahu" co-star Rubina Dilaik. He participated in Zee Heros with Mamta Sharma in 2012 and with Udit Narayan in Zee Stars Concert in 2013 in South Africa. Sachdev worked as an event manager in his last few Show Time Creations concerts held in South Africa.
