Arossim Beach, South Goa District, GoaArossim Beach is the vast stretch of land, located just south of Velsao Beach. Arossim Beach is famous for the beautiful sands, and it is attracted by the nature lovers of both national and international level tourists.

Arossim Beach is the abode of Tristao Braganza Cunha, who was the freedom fighter of Goa in colonial times. Arossim Beach is the heaven not only for the party lovers and leisure seekers but also for the adventure lovers who look forward to some water adventure and sport activities along the beach.

Arossim Beach is difficult to distinguish from the neighbouring beaches Cuelim beach and Cansaulim Beach. Cansaulim Beach is a famous beach in Goa. This beach is located at about 15 kilometres from Margao in Marmugao taluka in South Goa District. Mormugao is a sub-district and a municipal council in South Goa district in the Indian state of Goa. It is the main port of Goa. These two beaches- Cuelim beach and Cansaulim Beach are actually its natural extension in the north direction. All these three beaches (Arossim Beach, Cuelim beach and Cansaulim Beach) belong to the territory of Cansaulim Village.

Arossim Beach is perfectly located in Salcette Taluka, that is the Salcette district in South Goa District of Goa. To the south from Arossim Beach, one can find two beaches of tourist attraction, Utorda Beach and Majorda Beach which are stretching alongside the sea coastline of Goa. The distance from Arossim Beach to Margao, the main city of the region is about 12 km.

Arossim Beach in South Goa District in Goa also has dazzling white sand, green dense palm trees and colourful fishing boats which are like slowly and peacefully dancing among the ocean waves. The landscape is supplemented with few bistros and shops, that project authentic Goan dishes and the handicrafts for the national and international level tourists.

Arossim Beach will perfectly suit those tourists who are trying to escape from noisy, din and bustle urban life, overcrowded with rapidly-flying everyday life and humdrum life. Under tender sunbeams, swimming in warm ocean waters and taking water sports exercises, will be perfect gift for an escaper.

Arossim beach is just between Velsao beach and Utorda beach, on this beautiful 26 km (16 miles) beach of South Goa District of Goa. It is about 20 km from Dabolim Airport of Goa and a few kilometres from Margao, the main city of South Goa District.
