Cansaulim Beach, GoaCansaulim Beach, situated between the beaches of Arossim and Velsao, is a famous beach in Goa. This beach is located at about 15 kilometers from Margao in Marmugao taluka in South Goa. Marmugao is a sub-district and a municipal council in South Goa district in the Indian state of Goa. It is the main port of the state. Cansaulim Beach is regarded as one of the most prominent beaches in South Goa.

Cansaulim Beach in Goa is incredibly clean and tidy with beautiful golden sand. One can see a lot of palm groves along the shoreline of Cansaulim Beach. Cansaulim Beach has also a number of beach shacks that serve some good dishes and drinks of Goa. Cansaulim Beach is the hub of Goan dishes. The tourism in this beach also covers the neighbouring beaches of Arossim Beach and Cuelim Beach.

Cansaulim Beach is considered as the part of India`s second largest beach stretch. The tourism of Cansaulim Beach also covers the eco tourism in Cansaulim village. It is a small village, which comes under Mormugao Taluka. Cansaulim village is situated approximately 12 km from the port city of Vasco Da Gama. This small village is visited by several tourists, mainly during the time of Three Kings Feast, which is a Portuguese Christian Festival held on 6th January every year. Cansaulim Church is one of the oldest churches in Cansaulim village, which is also known as the St. Thomas Church of Cansaulim. This church was built in the year 1581. This Portuguese Church can be visited by visitors of every caste or creed.

Vasco Da Gama is a nearby city of Cansaulim Beach, which is located at a distance of 12.2 km from Cansaulim Beach. Another nearby attraction is Naval Aviation Museum; it is approximately 14 km from Cansaulim Beach. This museum is popular for the large collection of popular Indian Fighter Aircrafts.

The best time to visit this place is from October to May. The nearest railway station to this place is Madgaon, which is 41 km from Cansaulim. Nearest airport is Goa Airport. A cab can be hired from the station or airport to reach the Cansaulim Beach.
