Utorda Beach is located at about seven kilometres from the north of Colva. Colva is a coastal village in Salcete District of South Goa District, The beach of Colva stretches for around 2.4 kilometres. The part of Utorda Beach consisting of about 25 kilometres of powdered white sand, lined along its shore by coconut palms and extending from Bogmalo Beach in the north to Cabo de Rama fort in the south.
Utorda Beach is the soporific strip of palm-ringed shore in Colva. Towards the north is Arrosim Beach and towards the south is Majorda Beach. The entire long stretch of beach is lovely and peaceful.
Just to the south of Velsao Beach of Goa is the beautiful stretch of Arossim Beach. Arossim Beach is the dwelling place to the family of Tristao Braganza Cunha, a pioneer of freedom struggle of Goa and one who advocated nationalism.
