Arabithittu Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in Mysore Karnataka. The sanctuary is spread over an area of 14 square km with various species of animals, birds and plants. The sanctuary was created on 30th April, 1985. Arabithittu State Forest is situated inside the sanctuary.

Arabithittu Wildlife Sanctuary is the place for different species of animals, birds and plants. It serves as a peaceful abode of Leopard, Fox, Spotted Deer, Wild Pig, Porcupine, Hare and common Mongoose etc. The sanctuary has a large variety of plantations of Sandalwood and Eucalyptus; it also possesses 230 species of birds which can be observed throughout the year in the sanctuary area. The sanctuary has also been marked with scrub forests and agricultural fields.
Visiting Information to Arabithittu
The best time to visit the sanctuary is from December to February, when the winter season is soothing. Daily buses are available from Mysore to K R Nagar to reach the place. Nearest railway station is in K R Nagar and nearest airport is in Mysore to reach the sanctuary.
