Anjan Gram is a popular pilgrimage place of India. There is a mythical story behind the development of this place as a pilgrimage centre. This place is supposed to be the birth place of Lord Hanuman. Goddess Anjani was the mother of Lord Hanuman on whose name the place has been named.

The statue of Anjani Mata has been preserved inside the Anjani cave. Still today, the idol of Ma Anjani reminds the pilgrims of the association of the Anjan Gram in Jharkhand with Lord Hanuman.

To memorialize the mythical importance of the place of Anjan Gram, an idol that depicts Goddess Anjani has been put up inside the cave known as the Anjani Cave. This idol of Goddess Anjani dates back to the ancient times. Still today, the idol of Ma Anjani reminds the pilgrims of the association of the Anjan Gram in Jharkhand with Lord Hanuman. The Anjan Gram has a lot of religious significance and at the same time, offers a great deal of scenic beauty.
