Anish Bhanwala is an Indian Shooter who is India`s youngest ever gold medallist at the Commonwealth Games. He is the recipient of Mahindra Scorpio TOISA 2018 award for Emerging Player of The Year.
Early Life of Anish Bhanwala
Anish Bhanwala was born in Kasandi village in Gohana, Haryana. He is a High school student in St. Theresa`s Convent Sr. Sec. School, Karnal. He moved to Delhi in 2014 to have the best facilities for preparation.
Career of Anish Bhanwala
Anish Bhanwala has represented India at U-12 modern pentathlon World Championships in 2013 and Asian modern pentathlon Championships in 2015. In ISSF Junior World Championship 2017, Anish won two gold two silver medals and one bronze for India. In 2017 Commonwealth Shooting Championships, he won silver in 25metres Rapid Fire Men. In ISSF Junior World Cup 2018, Sydney he won gold individually and one team silver in 25metres Rapid Fire Junior Men. In Commonwealth Games 2018, he won a gold medal for India and became the youngest Indian to win a gold medal in Commonwealth Games at an early age of 15 years.
