Anang Desai, popularly known as `babuji` of the very popular soap Khichdi is one of the most talented actors on the small screen. Again in the popular afternoon daily Kumkum he plays the character of Ashwin Vanjera, a scheming lawyer and is seen engaged in a court battle with the protagonist Wadhwa family. In this serial he will also use the Wadhwa family`s elder daughter-in-law against her own family. Again in the serial Woh Rehne Walli Mehlon Ki he plays the role of Mr. J. Thappar, the father of Prince Thappar. He is portrayed as the rich business tycoon whose personality is well loved by the audiences.
