The popular television actor Amit Behl is an actor on the small screen. He has given to the television audiences some of the most dignified roles. He is an engineer by profession but his passion lies in the art of acting. He made his television debut with the Indian blockbuster show `Shanti` in the year 1994. Following that for seven years he was not seen in any popular shows. He made a huge comeback with the hugely popular STAR Plus show `Kora Kagaaz` and the superhit Sony show `Shaheen`.
Other serials that Amit Behl has done include `Zanjeerein`, `Sahab`, `Daraar` and `Jaane Kahan Mera Jigar Gaya Ji`. Following this, he portrayed the character of a psychiatrist in `O Maria`. In `Kismat` he represented the character of a qualified Mafia underworld Don. He also appeared in some of the episodes in the serial, `Mano Ya Na Mano`. He also worked with the veteran and renowned director Lekh Tandon in `Daraar`. He was also seen in the character of Akshay`s father in the serial "Mamta" which is based on the story of a surrogate mother played by Neha Mehta.
