Abbot Mount is a beautiful and picturesque place located at a height of 6500 mts above sea level. It is located in the Champawat District of Uttarakhand state. Abbot Mount is 80 kms away from Tanakpur Raiway Station and 8 kms from Lohaghat. It is also popularly written as Abbott Mount and Abott Mount. It offers salubrious, serene and tranquil environment. The enchanting and exquisite snow covered Himalayan Mountain peaks can be seen from Abbot Mount. It is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city and there are 13 scheduled cottages located in the hills.

There is no particular time to visit Abbot Mount, as it is beautiful and serene round the year. But it is better advised that monsoons are avoided as there are road blockades due to landslides.
