Shabbir Sebastian Ahluwalia was born on August 10th, 1979 in Hyderabad, to a Punjabi father and a catholic mother. Shabbir completed his education from St. Xavier's High School, Mumbai and University of Maryland, College Park, USA.
Career of Shabbir Ahluwalia
Shabbir Ahluwalia became most renowned for his role of Milind Mishra in the series Kayamath. This brought him several awards and his pairing with co-star Panchi Bora, was highly praised. He has also hosted various programmes and shows like Nach Baliye, Star Parivaar Awards 2007, Meethi Churi and Dancing Queen. Shabbir has also performed in many award functions such as Star Parivar 2008, Indian Telly Awards etc. recently, he appeared in the show, Guinness World Records, Ab India Todega as on-field anchor with actress Preity Zinta. He was also the winner of Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 3. Shabbir Ahluwalia has also established his own production house named Flying Turtles and is producing the series "Ganga ki Dheej" for Sahara One. He is also being featured in the soap Laggi Tujhse Lagan as Dutta Shriram Patil.
Shabbir Ahluwalia has acted in 2 Bollywood movies, Shootout at Lokhandwala in 2007 and Mission Istanbul in 2008. Both the films were produced by his friend Ekta Kapoor.
Personal Life of Shabbir Ahluwalia
Shabbir Ahluwalia has two siblings, one sister and a brother. Shefali Aluwalia, his sister married to a Marine Pilot. Sameer Ahluwalia, Shabbir's brother, was featured in the serial Ganga ki Dheej. He has played many cricket and football matches for charity and is also the captain of Boxy Boys, a celebrity cricket team.
