Nivideta Bhattacharya is a television actress who was seen in the popular serial 'Saat Phere - Saloni Ka Safar' on Zee television. Bhattacharya completed her graduation from I.T. College, Lucknow and then stated to act in theatre at Lucknow. Her first stage performance was under the direction of Surya Mohan Kulsheshtha.
In the serial 'Saat Phere' she portrayed the role of Jiji, the elder sister of Tara (played by Ashlesha Sawant). She also acted in other serials like 'Kundali', 'Kaahani Ghar Ghar Kii', 'Dil Kya Kare' and some episodes of 'Rishtey' and 'DON.' She was also seen in other soaps like 'Kartavya', 'Mujhe Dor Koi Khichhe', 'Margarita' and 'Bhagwan Bachaye Inko.'
Of late she also acted in Balaji midnight thriller 'K Street Palli Hill' where she played the character of Arindam's wife Debo. She also appeared in a brief role in the popular soap 'Ayushmaan.' She has worked in theatres and did some popular plays like 'Loving Bombay', 'Ek Kadam Aagey' and 'Sir Sir Sarla.' Nivideta Bhattacharya has also acted in Bollywood movies like 'Kya Kehna' and 'Last Train to Mahakali.' In the former movie she portrayed the character of Priety Zinta's sister-in law while in the later one she acted she acted opposite Bollywood actor Kay Kay Menon. The movie was directed by Anurag Kashyap in 1999.
On the personal front Nivideta Bhattacharya is married to the Bollywood actor Kay Kay Menon.
