Neha Marda, the budding actress shot to fame with the popular soap 'Saath Rahega Always.' She was born in Kolkata and then shifted to the tinsel town to pursue her passion. She is an accomplished singer and dancer and from a very tender age to make it big. Neha has also won 3 consecutive Boogie Woogie Dancing Competion on SONY TV Channel from seventeen years of age. Having great interest in dancing, Neha has learnt Bharatnatyam for nine years and Kathak for seven years, along with several other dancing arts.
Sometime back she appeared in a talent hunt where she was suggested by Ravi Behl to try her luck in acting. After few auditions she was selected for a serial. Neha Marda made her television debut with the serial 'Saath Rahega Always', which was broadcasted on STAR Onechannel. This serial featured her as Peehu Bhargava, a bubbly and accommodating college girl barely out of her teens. Her acting skills were well appreciated in the serial and soon she was approached by other directors. She later got offers in the serial 'Ek thi Rajkumari', 'Saath Rahega Always' (2005-2006) and 'Jo Ishq Ki Marzi Who Rab Ki Marzi.' Neha next starred in the hugely popular serial of the Colors TV 'Balika Vadhu.' The story deals with Child Marriage, a social custom still prevalent in parts of India. Neha's role of a young girl 'Gehna' married to a man who is double her age has been very appealing to the audiences. She also got an offer from a South Indian film but had to forgo the offer as she was not ready to leave her serials. With many other roles in her kitty, Neha is sure to go a long way.
