Bhambavli Vajrai Waterfalls is located approximately 27 kilometers from Satara city, Maharashtra near Sahyadri hill. It is roughly 1840 ft tall and is the second-highest plunge waterfall in India, after the Nohkalikai Falls in Meghalaya. The surrounding area of the waterfall experiences a large amount of rainfall. It is also highly saturated with leeches.
