Sangetsar Lake, Tawang, Arunachal PradeshSangestar Tso Lake, also known as Madhuri Lake, is located in Tawang District of Arunachal Pradesh. It is located on the way from Tawang to Bum La Pass near the Indo-China border at an elevation of 15,200 feet above mean sea level. This lake is the home to snow pigeons and musk deer. The lake was created with falling rocks and trees in an earthquake. Once Madhuri Dixit shot a scene from the movie "Koyla", after which it was also named as Madhuri Lake. It is a popular tourist spot for possessing astounding scenic views.

Sangetsar Lake is 20 km away from Tawang. Salonibari Airport and Tezpur Railway Station are the nearest to Tawang. National Highway 27 connects Tawang to other major parts of the country.
