Basavakalyan town in Bidar District of Karnataka houses world’s tallest statue of Lord Basavanna with a height of 108 feet. The statue was built in October 2012 and is the tallest statue of Basavanna in a sitting posture in India. The statue is in the Basava Dharma Peetha.
