Iconography of Adinath Statue
Lord Rishabhadeva’s idol is made out of brown stone and stands in the Kayotsarga posture; it is an important Jain yogic meditation posture. With a unique style, the hands of the idol are not joined with legs but are made separate. With a symmetrical image, the face of the idol also displays a balanced image of all emotions like joy, mercy and separation. On the left side of the Adinath statue is the 4 armed Gomukh Yaksha and on the right side is the 16 armed Yakshi Chakreshvary.
