Yumthang Hot Spring, SikkimThe famous Yumthang Hot Spring is located some kilometres away from the Yumthang village in the state of Sikkim. To reach the hot spring, the tourists have to walk a few hundred yards via road and across a pedestrian bridge on the Lachung River. Rich in sulphur, the Yumthang hot spring has huts with two pools for the convenience of bathers. The hot water rich in sulphureted hydrogen gas from the spring is diverted to the pools.
