Salugara Monastery, the 100 feet tall stupa, was founded by the Tibetan Lama, Kalu Rinpoche. The stupa brings out five kinds of relics of Buddhism. Inside the premises of the monastery, there is a giant prayer wheel near the small room where visitor can offer butter lamps. Salugara Monastery is an ideal place for meditation. Festive seasons are the best time to visit Salugara Monastery to learn more about the Tibetan culture.
