Dharmabad is located in the Nanded district of the western state of India, Maharashtra. In the northeast of Dharmabad is Mudhol at a distance of 10 km. Basar is located at a distance of 12km. in the southeast. Biloli is a small town in the southwest of Dharmabad at a distance of 20km. from Dharmabad , Maharashtra.

The nearest airport is the Hyderabad Airport, while the nearest railhead is the Dharmabad Railway Station on the Mudkhed- Secunderabad rail line of the Southern Railways.
