Deori is a taluka headquarters in the Gondia district of Maharastra in the western region of India. It lies on the Maharashtra-Chhatisgarh border on Hajira-Kolkatta National Highway 6 and is ideally located near the district's border with Chattisgarh. Deori is located 80 km. east of Bhandara and 67km. southeast of Gondia, the district headquarters.
The place has a good communication network. Sonegaon Airport is the nearest airport. Gondia Junction Railway Station is the nearest major railhead. Deori is located between 21.04° North latitude and 80.22° East longitude.
Dhukeshwari Temple is the main attraction here.
