Deori is a taluka headquarters in the Gondia district of Maharastra in the western region of India. It lies on the Maharashtra-Chhatisgarh border on Hajira-Kolkatta National Highway 6 and is ideally located near the district`s border with Chattisgarh. Deori is located 80 km. east of Bhandara and 67km. southeast of Gondia, the district headquarters.
