Dhubri District
Dhubri District is an administrative district in the state of Assam. The district headquarters are located at Dhubri town which is situated at 290 km from Guwahati, the state capital. This was also the headquarters of erstwhile-undivided Goalpara district, which was created in 1876 by the British government. In 1983, Goalpara district was divided into four districts and Dhubri is one among those. Dhubri district is one among the many Muslim Majority districts of Assam. About 75% of population is Muslim in Dhubri.

Kokrajhar District

The district, along with Nalbari District and Barpeta District together form the Kamrup region, has Kamrupi culture and language.

Kamrup Metropolitan District
Kamrup Metropolitan or Guwahati Metropolitan is one of the 35 districts in Assam. It was carved out of the erstwhile-undivided Kamrup district in 2003 and covers an area equivalent to the area under the jurisdiction of the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority area, due to which the district is sometimes alternatively referred to as `Guwahati Metropolitan` or Guwahati `sub-district`.

South Salmara-Mankachar District
South Salmara-Mankachar District is an administrative district in the state of Assam in India. The district headquarters are located at Hatsingimari town which is situated at about 245 km from Guwahati, the state capital.
