Satyajit Sharma is an Indian film and television actor. He is popular for the role of ‘Basant’ in the Hindi TV serial "Balika Vadhu" that aired in Colors TV channel. Blessed with good looks and a deep voice, Satyajit is a modest person whose work on the stage has been fairly appreciated.

Born in 1969, Satyajit Sharma completed his B.A. (Hons) in English from Delhi University in 1991. After completing his graduation, he went on to join the National School of Drama from where he graduated in 1994. Since then he has worked in different media.

In television, Satyajit Sharma has worked for Raman Kumar, Pankaj Kapoor, Ramesh Sippy, Amit Khanna, Romesh Sharma, Goldie Behl, Tony and Diya Singh.
His experience with the film media includes Kalpana Lazmi’s "Darmiyaan", Gopi Desai’s "Bas Yaari Rakho", Sudhir Mishra’s "Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi" and "Chameli", Anant Balani’s "24 hrs." and Pankaj Parashar’s "Inteqaam". He has also done commercials for brands such as Maggi, Idea, Sundrop Oil and for Hindustan Lever products.
