She later made her debut in Tollywood (Telugu film industry) in 2014 with the romantic comedy "Oohalu Gusagusalade". Her first commercial break was the 2015 Telugu project "Bengal Tiger", alongside Ravi Teja and Tamannaah in the lead, which was a global commercial success.

Early Life of Raashi Khanna
Raashi Khanna was born on November 30, 1990 in New Delhi, India. She graduated in English from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi. Later she pursued her Masters in Psychology and also started off her career as a model, doing many modelling assignments including television commercials for TATA Sky, Alto 800 and Dominos.

Film Career of Raashi Khanna
Raashi Khanna made her acting debut in the year 2013, after auditioning for a role in Hindi political spy thriller film "Madras Cafe". She landed the role of Ruby Singh, the wife of Indian intelligence officer Major Vikram Singh played by John Abraham. She underwent acting workshops before taking up the role. The film released in August 2013 to immensely positive critical reception, particularly for its story and direction, ending up making above average business at the box office. Raashi"s portrayal of her character garnered her nominations for the Producers Guild Film Award for Best Female Debut and the Producers Guild Film Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 2014. It also impressed Telugu Cinema actor-director Srinivas Avasarala, who approached and roped her in for the female lead in his directorial debut "Oohalu Gusagusalade", where he himself featured alongside the actress and Naga Shourya.Raashi Khanna, Indian Movie Actress Raashi had signed the project in late October 2013, after considering many other South Indian films, finding the scope of performance in the film, while initially feeling that it would be more of a dancing role with little scope for acting when approached for narration but found her character practically in every scene of the film. She called her character Sirisha Prabhavathi as "grey, stubborn, arrogant but in a lovable way", which she claimed to be very different from her own barring the fact that she hailed from Delhi. The film upon release in 2014 received positive reviews not only from critics but also from several noted industry personalities and went on to become a big hit, completing 50 days in 21 centres. Khanna was also praised for her performance, The Times of India stating it as "commendable" and having had helped the movie to some extent.

Raashi confirmed in early April 2014 that she made a cameo appearance in the Telugu film "Manam", which had its theatrical release prior to "Oohalu Gusagusalade". Her next Telugu film was "Joru", directed by Kumar Nagendra opposite Sundeep Kishan, Priya Banerjee and Sushma Raj. The film, where she featured as Annapurna, was a commercial failure. She was next seen in the action film "Jil", directed by debutante Radha Krishna Kumar opposite Gopichand, which she signed in early July 2014 after the makers approached her considering her performance in "Oohalu Gusagusalade". The film received mixed reviews and Raashi"s portrayal of Savithri was praised. In early May 2015, she was signed in the film "Shivam", replacing actress Neha Sharma`s younger sister Aisha Sharma to play the character Tanu. The film received negative reviews and was an "utter flop" at the box office. In late December 2014, she had been signed on as the parallel female lead alongside Tamannaah opposite Ravi Teja, for the Sampath Nandi-directed film "Bengal Tiger", produced on a budget of Rs.250 million. The film released globally on December 10, 2015 in 1000 screens. It received mixed reviews from critics but was a major commercial success, grossing nearly Rs.405 million globally and becoming the 8th highest grossing Telugu film of the year. The film, later dubbed into Hindi under the same name in 2016, was the biggest commercial hit of Khanna`s career at the time.

Raashi Khanna, Indian Movie ActressRaashi Khanna was last seen in the 2016 Telugu action comedy "Supreme", written and directed by Anil Ravipudi, where she portrayed the role of cop Bellam Sridevi. Not only did the film receive positive reviews, but also became a huge success grossing Rs.450 million worldwide, running for more than 50 days, breaking the actress" previous film"s record. In February 2016, she was signed opposite Ravi Teja again for his next titled "Robin Hood", to be directed by Chakri. The actress will now be seen in the action film "Oxygen", produced by S. Aishwarya under Sri Sai Raam Creations banner and directed by her husband Jyothi Krishna, starring Gopichand. She has also reportedly been roped in as the female lead in director Sanatosh Srinivas" upcoming sequel to the 2011 film "Kandireega", opposite actor Ram Pothineni. The movie is slated to release on October 7, 2016, on the occasion of Dussehra.
