Early Life and Education of Deepti Divakar She was born in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Her grandfather, Dr R.R. Diwakar, was India's first Information and Broadcasting minister and Governor of Bihar. She received her interior designing degree from Parsons School of Design, New York and University of California, Los Angeles. She received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bangalore University. She did a Master of Arts in Radio-Television from San Francisco State University. Career of Deepti Divakar Divakar essayed the lead role in a regional Indian feature film titled 'Simhasana' in Kannada language. She has worked in a Greek film in Athens, Greece, called 'Expotheriko'. She also worked in a Broadway show called 'Bombay to Broadway', in New York City in the year 1993. She was featured in a cover story of 'Eikones' magazine, in Athens, Greece, dancing at the Parthenon. Apart from acting, Divakar has worked and contributed in the field of literature. She has written two books. She is listed in Who's Who in the World, Marquis Publishers, New Jersey, 2014. She was a contributing journalist for The Times of India and has published more than 55 articles of hers in the newspaper.
