Historical Significance of Summer Hill
Summer Hill is often visited from the state capital of Himachal Pradesh as Shimla is one of the famous hill stations. In the past, Summer Hill has offered residence to Mahatma Gandhi, the famous freedom fighter who stayed here at the Georgian mansion of Rajkumari Amrit Kaur during his Shimla visit.
