Arossim Beach is the abode of Tristao Braganza Cunha, who was the freedom fighter of Goa in colonial times. To the south from Arossim Beach, one can find two beaches of tourist attraction, Utorda Beach and Majorda Beach which are stretching alongside the sea coastline of Goa. The distance from Arossim Beach to Margao, the main city of the region is about 12 km.
