, spread an area of 0.50 square kilometres. Achabal Conservation Reserve was designated as a Game Reserve by the Maharaja of Kashmir. In the year 2008, it was denoted as Achabal Wildlife Sanctuary.
A wide array of coniferous forests like Kail Pine, Spruce, Fir, Birch, Deodar and Juniper trees are prevalent in Achabal Wildlife Sanctuary.
