Baajaa Gaajaa is an annual musical festival which is organised in Pune by Underscore Records Private Limited which continues for a period of three days, and it was first started in the year 2009. The inherent richness and diversity of Indian musical genres are the main criterion of Baajaa Gaajaa, which is gaining much popularity in the nation. Veteran Indian musicians Aneesh Pradhan and Shubha Mudgal are the curators of this special music festival, which is extremely popular throughout the nation.
The co-director of the musical festival, Shubha Mudgal is a talented Indian musician who has been trained exclusively by some of the greatest musicians who include Vasant Thakar, Vinay Chandra Maudgalya, Ashreya Jha, Naina Devi, Kumar Gandharva and Jitendra Abhisheki. She had been honoured with the Padma Shri Award in the year 2000, by the Government of India. She is actively involved in musical competitions and numerable Internet projects associated to Indian music.
Aneesh Pradhan, another co-director of the music festival is also famous due to his marvellous ability to compose music. He had been awarded a doctoral degree in the field of History, from the University of Mumbai. Aneesh Pradhan has also contributed largely for online musical websites in the nation.
