![]() Early Life of Mouli Ganguly Hailing from the City of Joy, Kolkata in the state of West Bengal, Mouli Ganguly was born on 1982. She graduated in science from the University of Calcutta. Career of Mouli Ganguly Mouli Ganguly started her career as a model and starred in a number of television and print ads. She has modelled for products like Pears, Rin, Ariel, Close-Up, Double Diamond, Asian Paints, Sonam Quartz, Britannia, Maggie, and Bombay Dyeing. Mouli Ganguly has also worked as an assistant director before she started acting. In 2001, Mouli Ganguly became a household name because of her role as Shaina in the hit television thriller Kaahin Kissii Roz, she later went on to play more diverse roles in shows such as Kutumb and Kkusum. In 2004, she appeared in Rituporno Ghosh's critically acclaimed movie Raincoat alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn. After that she took a hiatus but made a comeback with the Hindi television show Aathvaan Vachan (2008). Mouli Ganguly has also appeared in the season 4 of the dance reality show Nach Baliye with her then boyfriend and now husband Mazher Sayed. In 2012, Mouli Ganguly played the role of an antagonist in the Sony TV serial called Kya Hua Tera Vaada. And in 2016, she again returned as an antagonist for the season 3 of Zee TV’s popular Jamai Raja.
