As of 2011 census of India, Burari is a village and a constitutional assembly of Delhi. It had a population of 360,182. Males comprise 55% of the population and females 45%. Burari has an average literacy rate of 68%, higher than the national average of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 76% and female literacy rate is 59%. Only, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
