Budha Theh is a census town situated in the Amritsar district in the state of Punjab in India. With a population of 8730 as per the 2001 India census, the town has 56% males, 44% females and 12% children less than 6 years of age. The mean literacy rate of 72% is greater than the nationwide standard of 59.5%. Among the males and females, 79% and 63% are respectively literate.
